• We have just added a Blog to this site. With a focus on potential flood events and other interesting weather in our valleys I hope you enjoy reading it - feedback appreciated.
• We have just added a Recent Rainfall Data page which highlights up to the hour rainfall received at reporting stations in NE NSW.
• We have just updated the River Heights pages with more live graphs as well as indications of when signficant local bridges are likely to be inundated. If you have any information about other local bridges / corrections / updates please let me know.
• Out of date links now updated - let me know if you find any more please
• Rainfall data from the October flood has now been uploaded...Flood data from the November flood is also live on the site.
• Links and other information on the site checked and made consistent across the site (so if you find anything that does not work please let me know!
• A Daily Solar Radiation graph is now available in Live Weather. Historical solar data will be added to the other pages soon.
• Images and graphs from the February 2009 flooding in Bellingen can be seen here
• The site is now updated once a day from a weather station situated in the Kalang Valley approximately 7km from the centre of Bellingen.
• Live river data plots are now displayed on the Live River Heights page.
• The Glossary has been updated and the Heat Index is now shown on the Live Weather page.
• You can now view monthly and yearly graphs for weather in Bellingen! Definitions for floods levels in the Bellinger have also been added to the BoM River Heights page.
• A links page has been added.

Live weather data on this site is sourced from a solar powered Davis Vantage Pro2 located at Reids Creek in the Kalang Valley. This information is made freely available but before you reproduce any of the live data on this site please contact the site coordinator at kevin@reidscreek.net.au We try to ensure that the live information on this site is as up to date and as accurate as possible but for reasons outside our control (such as the Tawny Frog Mouth that likes trying to make nests in the rain gauge!) there may be times when the data is out of date or inaccurate.
