Membership

We have about 85 members all of whom do not ride with us all the time, but we have a great core group of riders dedicated to the group, who ride regularly.  Many members do not live in the Bellingen Shire, increasingly people are joining us from out of the shire area.  

We do not pressure people to join, however, it is necessary after a few rides with the group that you become a member, cost $25 per year per rider.  This includes a non-riding partner who can attend breakfast rides, morning tea and BBQ rides etc.

Our expenses are minimal and we only need sufficient money to cover the running of the group. As the money belongs to the members we try to hold BBQ’s, Pancake breakfasts and other activities as a way of giving any excess money back to the members.

The Group come under the umbrella of Bicyle NSW and are covered by their Public Liability Policy. However, to be covered by this policy you must be a member of Bicycle NSW, annual cost about $80 which includes personal insurance and a bi-monthly magazine.
